“You Are Closer Than You Think”

One of the hardest parts of helping graduates is watching people quit right before things start moving.

Over the last 4 weeks, we’ve had four graduates secure work.

What most people don’t see is this:

Those same graduates had been networking consistently for 3–5 months beforehand.

Before that?

Many had spent 12 to 18 months applying online and getting absolutely nowhere.

No interviews.
No traction.
No direction.
Then slowly…

One coffee chat became two.

One conversation led to another.

One hiring manager remembered their name.

One opportunity finally opened.

And suddenly, everything changed.

The problem is most graduates think:

“It’s not working.”

But often what’s really happening is:

“The groundwork is being laid, and you just can’t see it yet.”

You do not need 10 job offers.

You need one person to say yes.
