A Warning for Graduates Still Looking for Work

Be Careful If July Passes You By

A little warning for graduates currently looking for work.

If you reach July 1st and you have nothing lined up…

Pay attention.

Hiring tends to move in cycles.

Companies often begin hiring once new financial year budgets are confirmed.

But if this period passes…

The next wave could be another 2–3 months away.

That doesn’t mean opportunities disappear.
But momentum slows.

If you’ve spent 12 months applying online and you’re still not meeting people face to face…

You need to rethink your strategy.

Because continuing the same approach will only create more stress later.

Particularly if your visa timelines are starting to become a factor.

Sometimes the biggest risk…

Is doing nothing differently.

About Us

We believe to be successful in any industry you must know exactly what you want to achieve from your career and associate with people who can help make it happen. Too much emphasis is placed on online applications, GPAs, resumes and cover letters. The truth is, by the time it’s online, it’s too late. If you take the time however to develop your professional relationships, work will follow, and it’s easy to do even for a graduate.
