When I was a graduate I just wanted to go somewhere where they would support me in my career and provide adequate training and support.
Times have changed and people do provide more support now than ever before there is more focus on developing staff than ever before, which is amazing.
Opportunities to develop your career range from small to medium size family businesses to large corporations
There are pros and cons to both, but its your choice, neither is right or wrong or better than the other
My suggestion would be to make decisions around what you value the most, your personal values
Look at what you prefer verse what others expect of you, after all, you are the one who has to complete the work.
When I was starting I was definitely influenced by others and it did impact my decisions, take the time & be honest as you can before making a decision that could impact not only your career but others who are close to you
