In my opinion, the simple answer is No!
Recruiters play an important role in business, providing a discrete means of recruiting new employees from rival companies, and they also have a business to run
I completed a short stint in recruitment myself and although we all were polite to the graduates, we really were not in the business of graduate recruitment, I do realise it appears unfair or insensitive, however, companies whom we were recruiting paid for our ability to find people with real experience.
For Graduates especially international graduates you need to get ahead of the wave, you need to make sure you know people in the industry.
The rule of thumb is simple
If its ONLINE its too late
You missed the wave…
but there will be more for sure
